Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps


Description

Melty, garlicky, and cheesy wraps filled with seasoned chicken and toasted to golden perfection — the ultimate weeknight comfort food.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 4 large flour tortillas (burrito-size)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • Optional: fresh parsley or chives, finely chopped
  • Optional Add-Ins: sautéed mushrooms, sliced red onion, roasted red peppers, spinach or arugula, jalapeños, a swipe of ranch or Caesar dressing

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, combine chicken, mayo, salt, pepper, and half the shredded cheese. Mix well.
  3. Lay a tortilla flat. Add ¼ of the chicken mix, top with more cheese, then roll it up like a burrito.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Brush wraps with garlic butter on both sides, and cook seam-side down for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  5. Remove from heat, slice in half, and garnish with herbs if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

Don’t overfill the wraps to avoid bursting. Toast slowly on medium heat for perfect crispiness. Double the garlic butter if you’re obsessed like me — it makes a great dip too!
